Joann received the B. Health. Sc. degree in Nursing from Monash University, Australia in 2001. She is currently working in National University Hospital as a Assistant Director in Nursing, managing OT and DS ward and leading projects related to improved patient care in her area. She has participated and lead in various patient improvement activities such as CPIP on “Reduce delay waiting time in RR after discharged by anesthetist”, Increase Percentage of Ortho P2 cases operated within less than 6 hours”. Joann currently sits as one of the Steering Committee member for OR dashboard which looks into work flow efficiency and patient safety initiative in the OR.
