Nadiah Hanim Abdul Latif
Nadiah Hanim started her career in Sime Darby in 2002 with the Group Legal Department, before moving onto its Group Communications & Corporate Affairs and Group Corporate Social Responsibility Departments. She was awarded the Sime Darby scholarship in 1996 and has been part of the Sime Darby family since then. Her experience has ranged from managing the Group’s intellectual property portfolio, developing the Group’s websites and strategy, and managing its enterprise portal during the Synergy Drive merger, managing the Group’s Healthcare Division’s rebranding project, coordinating Sime Darby’s Padang Earthquake Relief efforts, to developing and managing the Group’s Child Protection Policy and Programme.
She has an LLB from the University of Bristol, UK, a Masters in International Relations from the University of New South Wales, Australia and is currently pursuing a Diploma in Learning Disorders Management and Child Psychology.
She enjoys white water rafting, travelling and has travelled and backpacked to more than 25 countries including Bosnia e Herzegovina. She is passionate about youth development and was the volunteer coordinator for the Australian Red Cross’ Migrant Youth Community project in Sydney. She is currently involved with various youth projects including working with youths from marginalized and high-risk communities around Kuala Lumpur.
