Shanthi Solomon
Shanthi Solomon has had a dynamic career as a nurse in international settings and has been involved in varied areas of patient care and education. She has served in multiple roles across the spectrum of nursing and is currently pursuing a doctorate degree in nursing with an emphasis on education. Over the years she has participated in direct patient care, education/training, consultation/counselling, supervision, research/development and project management.
She has an assertive personality with excellent soft skills and a broad knowledge base covering nursing practice and education, both in academic and community settings. Currently pursuing a doctorate degree in nursing with an emphasis on education, she is remains actively involved in both teaching and learning and a member of the Sigma Theta Tau Nursing Honor Society and the California Nurses Association as well as the Trained Nurses Association of India. Ms Solomon is the assistant director of nursing at Penang Adventist hospital but continues to participate in local and international community service, to meet the needs of culturally diverse populations.
